My wife and I had the pleasure of spending seven nights in the Insakan Suite, and even though we travel a lot, this was easily one of the most beautiful hotel rooms we’ve ever stayed in. The photos on the website are absolutely accurate. Actually, they don’t quite do it justice. The breathtaking hillside setting, with views across the forest all the way to the distant ocean, and the gorgeous pool area are even more beautiful in real life. But none of that was the best part of Umah Lusa. By far, the best part was the team. Staying here felt less like being guests at a hotel and more like being welcomed into the home of friends, friends who genuinely cared and did everything they could to give us the most wonderful time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, dear Umah Lusa team. You made this place truly special for us. We’ll be back. ❤️

“Formidable !”
We spent 3 magnificent nights at Umah Lusa and our stay was perfect from start to finish. 🌳 The hotel service is of great quality: the whole team is extremely welcoming, attentive, and always responds quickly to our requests. We also enjoyed a Balinese massage, which was truly excellent. The hotel also organized an excursion for us to visit a temple and a waterfall, everything was very well organized. We also had the opportunity to make a Balinese offering, called Canang Sari, directly at the hotel, a very interesting and enriching experience that allowed us to discover more about the local culture. The hotel restaurant is fantastic, both for the quality of the dishes and the service. We also used the laundry service: we got our clothes back clean and perfectly folded the next day. A real plus during a trip! As for the place itself, Umah Lusa is located in a true haven of peace, in the middle of the forest. The setting is beautiful, calm, and exotic. It is exactly the kind of place we were looking for in Munduk. 🌴 We highly recommend this hotel without any hesitation. We have absolutely nothing negative to say about our stay and if we are lucky enough to return to Bali one day, we will most certainly come back to Umah Lusa. This place is absolutely magical. We regretted not being able to stay longer. Delicious food (best breakfast during the entire stay in Bali in many hotels), clean pool, atmospheric spa. Clean rooms, many amenities. Highly recommended!!! ❤️
The only thing I missed was shower headphones, but you can survive those few days without :)
