We had a good stay at the villa and would probably stay again. The villa was clean and comfortable overall. The location was good — the villa is in a relatively quiet laneway, felt safe, and is within easy walking distance of the beach, restaurants and shops. There’s also a great coffee shop just a short walk away. The pool was a highlight, with plenty of sun from mid-morning through to mid-afternoon. The crockery and cutlery were new, despite a previous review suggesting otherwise. The towels and linens were a little worn and marked. There were quite a few mosquitoes, although bug spray and plug-in repellents were provided. We did have an issue with the air conditioning. Staff responded relatively promptly, and although the upstairs bedroom AC wasn’t fixed, they offered us another villa or the option to use the second bedroom, where the AC worked. One thing to be aware of is the security deposit. We were asked to pay it in cash on arrival, which hadn’t been communicated beforehand, and somewhat inconvenient.
Overall nothing. Would recommend and would stay again.
