Staff cleaned pool, beds and towels each day; rooms and public areas described as very clean and well maintained.
Staff very friendly and attentive; managers easy to get hold of. Service is a standout positive (rated slightly above target to reflect exceptional responsiveness).
Private, surrounded by lush vegetation and very quiet; 5-minute walk to the highly recommended Mekat restaurant.
Bedrooms completely enclosed, very cool with excellent air conditioning; pleasant outdoor living area and showers.
Huge pool and outdoor showers are highlights, but umbrellas could use maintenance (small issue) so a slight deduction applied.
Authentic Bali experience and strong recommendations from the reviewer indicate good value for the style of accommodation.
Plenty of variety for breakfast and dinner; also close to the best and friendliest nearby restaurant (Mekat).
Highly recommended for an authentic, private and quiet Bali stay with friendly staff and excellent room comfort.

An amazing stay, breakfast served on the terrace daily. Great location in central Ubud with shops, bars and restaurants all within a short walk. the tour guide Mr Putu was very helpful, and looked after us when we went on various tours. Spacious and comfortable rooms and beds, gorgeous pool which we mostly had to ourselves.

Real feel of Bali. If you are looking for an upmarket sterile resort this is not your place. This place is authentic. Outdoor living area and outdoor showers. Huge pool surrounded by vegetation. So quiet and very private. Bedrooms completely enclosed and very cool with excellent air conditioning. Close to the best and friendliest restaurant called Mekat. 5 mins walk. Would highly recommend. Plenty of variety for breakfast and dinner. Staff came each day to do the pool, beds, towels etc. Also very friendly. Managers easy to get hold of.
Only small issue but umbrellas could do with maintenance.
