“So much to love!”
So much to love about this property! The pool was large, clean and the perfect temperature. The garden surrounding it was beautiful. The outdoor kitchen had a large mini fridge, with very reasonably priced drinks and snacks. Also had enough room to keep our groceries in. There is a very comfortable daybed outside to relax on, and the bedroom is a good size. After a week of sleeping in uncomfortable beds, the bed and pillows here were heavenly! The outdoor shower had a wonderful view up to palm trees and the bathroom was large. The pictures on booking.com do not do this property justice. However, you can have a good property, but what makes it great is the staff! Wira, the villa manager, was exceptional. We had a couple of issues with the air con and water. He responded to my messages straight away, and any issues were fixed immediately. I cant speak more highly of him. The other staff were incredible too. So friendly and helpful! There is a nearby laundry called Your Laundry who will pick up your laundry and drop it back for free. They did a great job. I also highly recommend Longi's Cafe for a cheap, nearby breakfast. I would absolutely stay here again (as long as the price doesn't change. It was a fair price but I wouldn't pay much more). I stayed in high season. Photos: 1. The pool 2. The bedroom 3. At some point the owner will have to replace some of the floorboards. Some were starting to bend and felt soft under the feet. The bathroom also needs another step added. The drop from bedroom to bathroom is much too big, and would be an issue for older guests. It was also not easy to find. We hired a cidomo to get there and there was a big discussion beforehand about where it actually was., even when I showed them on the map. We got dropped off at the end of the driveway (which leads to numerous villas) but it still wasn't easy to find *This comment doesn't relate to the villa but is about the Gilis* I have been visiting the Gilis for a few years now and I absolutely hate how the e-scooters have taken over. In the past it was so relaxing to bicycle around, but now you have to keep a constant eye out for tourists (some very young) tearing about on scooters. It is no longer relaxing to walk or cycle about. I know this won't change ($$$) but it does put me off
