The location is great – close to a beautiful beach and plenty of nice restaurants in the area. The pool was very enjoyable, and the bedrooms were spacious with plenty of closet space. Having air conditioning in every bedroom was also a big plus.
We didn’t feel comfortable with the camera inside the property. Even though the owner assured us it was turned off and even sent us screenshots, it still didn’t feel private, as cameras can easily be switched on again. The kitchen felt outdated, with cabinets and doors that didn’t close properly. There was also a strong chemical smell in the house, which we later found out came from mosquito balls. These can actually be harmful to your health. After we raised our concern, they were removed and once we aired out the villa, the smell was almost gone. On top of that, the villa was quite difficult to find, as the location and instructions provided didn’t fully match. All in all, for the amount we paid, we expected more from this villa.
