The view, the size of the accommodation, the pool, the tranquility
The long climb to access the accommodation. Be prepared to have good physical fitness. Even cars struggle. You need to manage well if you plan to take a scooter because it goes up very steeply at times and the road is not well maintained. We stayed for 2 nights and we had no hot water to shower (even though we waited several minutes as indicated in the house guide, on both sides, but nothing came). After that, it was warm so it was okay if you don't linger underneath.

A very nice house above Padangbai. We really enjoyed the area, the house, the yard, the view, the swimming pool, the sunrise. Padangbai and the beautiful beaches around are reachable within walking distance. The host family is super nice, friendly, and supportive. It was a great place to slow down and enjoy some more relaxed days in Bali :) Thank you 🙏🏼
As the place is a bit high with a steep road, some of the taxi drivers do not want to come up. We had this case and were greatly supported by the host in this situation 🙏🏼
