Super accommodation with its own hot individual jacuzzi, we were in a separate part with 3 very well-equipped bungalows. Very convenient to start the ascent of Mount Batur directly on foot at 3:30 in the morning.

The track to the accommodation is rough but stick with it you will get there. The host helped carry my case (thanks mate), room was good and clean. The mini hot pool at the front was bliss as I had climbed Mt Batur the day before and my knees were killing me. The flies around due to the rice fields and oxen are pretty fierce so don't let them get into the room. And near full submersion in the pool is the way to go. There was a glamping place next door with a great restaurant, best meal I had in Bali there (spare ribs and champagne for $80 AUD). Views are lovely and it was quiet. Inside the room is well appointed, no coffee but teas. I did not master the pull-down projector and its plug-in friend. The included breakfast never happened, I did not ask as I could not be bothered and had to depart by 8 am. All in all, I say give this place a go, enjoy the views, close to Mt Batur and the hot pool in front is superb!
