“Great”
I lived for three months at Anita's, and everything was perfect. The room is very nice, the bed is large and comfortable, the bathroom is spacious and functional. The same goes for the shared kitchen, where you can find everything you need. But above all, Anita, the host, is very kind, respectful, and generous. She sometimes prepared meals for me, provided me with what I needed, and always cared about my comfort. I really felt at home :) Thank you for everything, I hope to come back!

That you are basically left alone. You can wash clothes.
It’s not like in the pictures and the location is boring. It’s slightly too expensive for what it is.

Anita is a nice well-spoken person
This place is NOT as described. It will take you at least 1.5 hrs each way to get to central Jakarta. NO bus/train after 10 PM-early mornings. If you want the room with hot shower +50K IDR/day, During my 19 days stay (15 Jan- 2 Feb 2026) there was NO cleaning of the room/change of towels/linens. Garbage is left just outside one of the rentals, so in the morning there are ants/bugs all over the terrace/patio. Sorry, Anita... this could have been a nice place... but your lack of interest for guests/cleaning makes this one of the worst places I ever stayed at, during 40 yrs of traveling around Asia

“Exceptional”
Anita is an amazing host. Not only does she provide anything you would need, including a toothbrush, shampoo, and even moisturizer, but if you ask for anything she will happily provide it. She even took me around to a local market and more. She often shared her cooking and was happy to let me cook for her as well. Amazing place!!
It is a peaceful, local area near a lake. A bit hard to find, but for me, much better than staying in a tourist area. Hot water would be nice.
