A great experience! The tour through rice fields, waterfalls, and jungle was beautiful. The hotel staff was super friendly - especially Faris, who was very personable and helpful. We had a lot of fun.

The little houses are very cute, the guide that was offered to us was great! We loved touring the rice fields, the Monkey Forest, and the waterfalls with him! We highly recommend the experience! Very good breakfast prepared by Faris, who is very nice.
No restaurant in the evening, you will have to move (quite far) or ask for delivery, however, you can eat before returning from the guided tour.

Alora Guesthouse in Tetebatu was honestly one of the nicest places we stayed during our trip. The guesthouse itself is beautiful, peaceful, and feels incredibly authentic, but what truly made our stay special was Fariz, the best host ever! ❤️ We 100% recommend doing the guided village walk and having an authentic local lunch with Fariz. It was one of the most genuine and memorable experiences we had in Indonesia. Getting to explore the village, meet locals, learn about the culture, and enjoy a delicious homemade local meal made the experience so much more meaningful. Fariz was incredibly kind, welcoming, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Thank you so much Fariz for everything and for giving us one of the best and most authentic experiences of our trip. We will definitely never forget it! If you’re staying in Tetebatu, Alora Guesthouse is a must! 100% recommended! 🌿❤️ Thank you from Betty & Jeremy ☺️

Very nice, quite large room. Beautiful, modern furnishings. Cute kittens on-site. Coffee and juices were particularly delicious. Very friendly, helpful, and open-minded staff. They took a lot of time for us. Great tour through the rice fields, the Monkey Forest, and two smaller waterfalls. Got an impression of how people live in Tetebatu. The landscape is beautiful. The room is located slightly outside the town center (where tourist restaurants, etc., are). You can rent a scooter if needed or have food delivered.
