We stayed almost a week at Villa Maia and had a fantastic stay. Our host and our housekeeper were attentive to our every need. They even arranged for a massage at the house. The house is very spacious with everything one can need and the pool is super clean. Freshly made breakfast every day by our housekeeper.
The house is quite remote so keep it in mind if you want to circle around, everything takes time!

The privacy/seclusion of the villa was great. The manager & caretaker were both very nice as well as accommodating. The fresh cooked breakfast inside the villa was great. The greenery/rice paddy view was awesome.. also the sounds of geckos, frogs & crickets at night was so soothing…And the ducks quacking through the day. If we needed to go somewhere, the manager was accommodating in taking us where we needed to go on short notice… He also speaks English very well.
The quite hard mattresses on the beds was hard to adjust to. The leaks in the roof was a little annoying but they were fixed pretty quickly.
