“Poorly maintained, poorly managed and very confusing.”
Very little. They over-sell, over-hype and over-market run-down apartments. They do no preventative maintenance. Instead, they let travelers discover problems and then perform half-baked repairs. I definitely do not recommend Kozystay or their apartments. Proceed with caution!
I had (and am still having) a HORRENDOUS experience. I initially rented the "Serica" apartment in Fatmawati City Centre. The images of the place made it look large, clean, and bright. In reality, it was quite worn, dark, and small. That’s all fine—I was willing to accept it. However, I experienced many other issues that made the apartment virtually unlivable: The air conditioners didn’t cool properly and leaked due to lack of maintenance. A mop was provided, but no bucket—so Kozystay Guest Services asked me to squeeze the dirty mop by hand. They refused to remove large, empty water containers that blocked access to the washing machine, claiming they were “apartment property.” The curtain fixture wasn’t secured properly and fell off at the slightest touch, leaving my room exposed to the outside. I had to argue with Guest Services to send someone that evening to fix it. The curtains themselves were paper-thin and barely blocked any sunlight. A towel holder fell off the wall and, despite repeated requests, was never repaired. Guest Services said a repairman would come at 7pm. I stayed home, but no one came. Eventually, I became fed up and requested a different apartment. I was given the option to move to “Kora” (unit N23K) in the Izzara apartment building. I agreed to pay extra and move, but that was yet another Pandora's box of problems and stress.
