“Pushing through for a wonderful time in Bali despite our disappointment in our accommodations”

We loved the location of the villa. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. We also felt safe as there was a security guard close by who was always on property when we had any concerns or questions. The staff were all very attentive to our needs.

The photos on Booking.com are apparently photos when the villa was first built. The villa was not "Cleaned". The villa was "tidied up" as a young male teenager would tidy up their room. There was dirt under the beds, behind the furniture, along the windowsills, etc., We were there in the rainy season and it rained most days during our stay. Whenever it rained, the rain came gushing into various parts of the villa, especially in the bedroom bathroom where I stayed. The villa advertises a booklet for spa services which appeared very high profile and professional. So, we booked some spa services including body scrubs and full body massages. There was absolutely NOTHING professional about these services. They got some women to show up at the villa with nothing but a small bottle of oil and some body scrub. formular. When asked where the massage bed was, they looked puzzled. We could not understand how massages and body scrubs were supposed to be done without a massage bed. They informed us that they would do it on our beds. We quickly dismissed them and cancelled the services. The next day we found a spa up the street that was just a two-minute walk from the villa who were extremely professional and whose facilities were amazing and high-tech. We utilized this spa every day after each tour. We also made arrangements directly with the villa to have a grand breakfast prepared for us on Christmas Day... that too was somewhat disappointing. Most of the items we paid for were not delivered and what were delivered were barely enough for four people much less eight which was the number of people in our group. We supplied them with a menu and the number of guests... which was supposed to actually be 10 persons. The price quoted was supposedly based on our menu selection and the number of people in the group. The breakfast items provided were not sufficient for everyone and the chef services were not professional services.

Loved the space in the common area, large table for all the family to sit and eat at. Pool was large. Breaky at the end of the gang.
