It was beyond my expectations. All in one in this place: comfort, peace, nature, food and a great service from all the staff. They care about people’s health with their restaurant menu. Besides, all courses and drinks I tried were so tasty!

The door didn’t close properly so there were all kinds of insects in the room and the bed. We ended up having to find somewhere else to stay late at night because there were biting bull ants in the bed. Requested a refund and didn’t get one.

The villas were nice. The setting was amazing and great coffee!! The massage was also fantastic.
Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was very disappointing and fell well below what I expected. There were several issues throughout my stay. On one occasion, I returned to my room to find that it had not been cleaned and there were no fresh towels. More concerningly, a key had been left in my door, which I found completely unacceptable from a security point of view. I also asked reception for help arranging laundry. I was told that the hotel did not provide the service directly but that they would send me the number of someone who could help. I never received anything and had to follow this up myself. Another frustrating experience happened on my final day. I had used a particular driver during my stay who was excellent and extremely helpful, so I specifically asked reception the day before to arrange the same driver for me. Despite mentioning him by name, a different driver was booked. Rather than simply acknowledging that a mistake had been made, it became an unnecessary issue and I felt there was very little accountability from the staff. The checkout experience was also uncomfortable. Before leaving, I was asked to sit and wait while someone checked my room. I understand that hotels may have procedures to follow, but the way this was handled made the situation feel awkward and as though I was being judged or suspected of something. After waiting, nobody even came back to tell me that everything was fine or that I could leave. Eventually, I had to approach reception again myself to ask whether I was free to go. More generally, I felt the rooms could have been considerably cleaner and the service from reception was disorganised. There were moments where it seemed staff simply did not know how to deal with relatively straightforward requests. There were some positive aspects of my stay, particularly the driver who helped me throughout my time in Hanoi, but unfortunately the overall hotel experience was nowhere near the standard I expected.
