Great location. Very quiet and peaceful. Great base for a Mt Agung adventure. Local restaurant (Delicious Kitchen) down the road was excellent. The local D.O.C Cafe was reliable, friendly and cheap with good food.

My stay at Besakih Homestay & Villa was simply perfect. For the price I paid, you get exceptionally good comfort here. The room was very spacious, as well as the large bathroom. I was particularly impressed by the beautiful balcony with a breathtaking view of the majestic Gunung Agung. I chose this accommodation to climb Gunung Agung, and it was the ideal starting point for that. The entire property is lovingly designed - a successful blend of traditional bamboo style and modern comfort. The staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and warm. Although there is no air conditioning, this is not a problem at all at this altitude of about 1,000 meters. The climate is pleasantly cool, especially at night, so you can sleep excellently. The view is spectacular and the atmosphere is quiet, idyllic, and relaxing. I highly recommend this accommodation to couples for their honeymoon, families for a relaxing holiday, or hikers who want to climb Gunung Agung. Gunung Agung, Bali's highest active volcano at 3,142 meters, was an unforgettable experience for me. Together with this wonderful homestay, the trip became something very special. Thank you for the hospitality - I will gladly come back! ❤️🏔️🌿
No taxis and Gojek, etc.

The staff was very responsive to our requests and always friendly. We were able to get a scooter within 10 minutes of our request; there is a restaurant right next door that is very good. About 1 hour from Mount Batur and right next to the Besakih temple, so very well located. No breakfast included or anything, but there are some Gojek drivers who deliver food and they know a nearby restaurant that can also deliver. A beautiful view of the forest and Mount Agung, it is a relaxing and calm place. Clean room and bathroom, Thank you for their hospitality!

The cabins are beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. The bathroom with hot shower lacks ventilation and the water stagnates on the floor. There is no permanent staff, the owner only receives messages and calls and sends someone punctually. So, the place did not feel welcoming. The views of Mount Agung and the ravine are a wonder that can be enjoyed from the garden. The shared kitchen is very basic.
