We spent our first two nights in Raja Ampat at Gam Bay Homestay and can highly recommend it. Aron and his family or his team are extremely hospitable, warm, and accommodating, and they really make a great effort to ensure their guests have a great stay. A nice detail: the boats are first pulled out of the bay in the morning and the engines are only started at a distance - this keeps it pleasantly quiet.

We stayed here for 5 nights, the bungalow was very nice and spacious, the common areas are very cute and cozy, especially the sunset point from which to watch the sunset on the sun loungers or the view point from which to observe the entire bay from above. The bathroom is clean and tidy. The food is cooked by Aron's family and is really good, with lots of variety and quality. Aron is an incredible host, he knows every area of Raja Ampat very well and strives every day to organize trips, he proposes many of them but it is also possible to make requests to customize them, furthermore, if necessary, he adapts them based on weather and sea conditions. We highly recommend it!
