The hosts Renaud and Made, a charming Swiss Balinese couple, are very welcoming and very concerned about our well-being. The view of the mountains, the pool from the hotel terraces is pleasant and the beds very comfortable. The rooms are well isolated from the street. We exchanged a lot with Renaud (who speaks French) about life in Bali, and he advised us on activities, restaurants... which is a real plus! The diving center attached to the hotel allowed us to have a beautiful family diving baptism in ideal conditions. We also went fishing with their associate, quite an experience! Very good breakfast served on request. They ordered a taxi for our departure, everything was perfect!
The bathrooms are a bit old with some odors and the noise of the mosque for sensitive sleepers ;) Otherwise, everything is perfect!

The geographical position is correct
I stayed at this hotel and I do not understand how it can still display 3 stars. Upon arrival, the observation is clear: the establishment is outdated and poorly maintained, with dead plants on the balcony and an overall sense of abandonment. The bathroom was particularly disappointing: no broom, no toiletries, just a basic soap and nothing else. In addition to that, there were signs of humidity, mold, and an old air conditioning system that made it feel a hundred years old. Even the cleaning was neglected: our dirty cutlery was left in the room. Added to this is a rather incomprehensible situation: during my first shower, only cold water came out. When I went to the reception, I was told that it was 'normal', that I had to turn the tap to the cold side to get hot water (!). The staff added that 'it's like that in Bali', which is false: I regularly stay in hotels in Bali and I have never had this problem elsewhere. If this is really the case in their establishment, a simple sign would have saved time and prevented unnecessary cold showers. Finally, the service was the most unsettling part: we were literally scolded like children at the reception, for an internal organization matter of which we were not even informed. And to top it off, we were made to feel guilty by being told that an employee would be fired because of this mistake. A completely inappropriate and very unpleasant way to talk to customers. In summary: a hotel that does not match the advertised standard, nor what one can expect from a 3-star hotel, both in terms of the quality of the facilities and the service. I will not return and will not recommend it to anyone.

The welcome, availability, and kindness of Renaud, his wife, and their team. Renaud speaks French and gave us good advice, visits, taxis, restaurants...
