The young lady at the reception spoke good English and was very helpful and friendly.
The cottage was very simple. No water bottles available. These were available for purchase at the reception.

To say that the value for money here is not right would be a huge understatement. For this price, you can get much nicer, better-maintained, and better-located accommodations. We were truly shocked and above all extremely disappointed. The accommodation is neither directly by the water nor particularly central, but rather remote. That alone would not have been a reason for us to complain. However, in our opinion, it would have been the minimum to clearly indicate before booking that there is only saltwater for showering. Also, the entire equipment seems very careless and, in our opinion, does not correspond at all to the price demanded. It became particularly unpleasant when we had to ask for towels and finally received some that were visibly dirty and had yellow stripes or stains. We really did not expect something like this in an accommodation of this price range. My mother and I have both traveled a lot and are definitely not particularly sensitive. We have stayed in very simple accommodations before and are usually the last ones to leave due to minor issues. For us to actually leave a booked accommodation, a lot has to happen. Therefore, I first contacted the owner and asked politely if, due to the circumstances, at least a discount or cancellation of the remaining nights would be possible. Both were declined. When I then only wanted to charge my phone and suddenly the power went out when plugging the charger into the socket, that was the final straw for us. We packed our things, got up, and left. However, what happened next was the icing on the cake: The owner subsequently canceled our booking on Booking.com with the justification that we had missed the check-in.

The staff was super nice and extremely helpful. Upon request, we received towels for the beach. The location is great. Bicycles can be rented directly there for an additional fee. You can only shower with saltwater in the rooms or wash your hands, but you receive a large bucket of fresh water/tap water (not drinkable) to rinse off the saltwater at the end. It's just a small island without proper water supply.
