“Disappointment – Too Expensive for What It Offers”
Unfortunately, this accommodation was not worth it for us. It’s one of the most expensive options in Gili Air — definitely among the top 5 in price — so you naturally expect a certain level of comfort and quality. Sadly, it didn’t deliver. Let’s start with the location. We already knew it was farther from the main area, and that was fine — we were looking for something quieter. But what we didn’t know is that the property is located in a dark, unlit area with no streetlights or signs. On our first night, we got completely lost coming back because there was no lighting at all — we were walking in total darkness trying to find the place. The property is also set in a construction site. The ground is covered in fine black dust that sticks to everything. Of course, we know that Gili has dusty roads, but this is different — you get dirty up to your knees just walking out. Every time we left, we had to bring a water bottle to rinse off our legs once we reached the main road. It’s really uncomfortable and unpleasant. We also chose this place expecting peace and quiet — that’s part of Gili Air’s charm. But the construction noise goes on all day long. Saws, hammering, loud work from early until late. You can’t relax at all, and this was never mentioned beforehand. For the high price they charge, you don’t expect to spend your day surrounded by construction noise. The worst issue, though, was the room itself. It traps heat — it gets unbearably hot inside, even hotter than outside. The air conditioner simply doesn’t work. We contacted the staff on the first day, and they spent almost three hours trying to fix it, but it never cooled the room. It was impossible to stay there comfortably. If you open the doors to let air in, mosquitoes come in, and there are no mosquito nets. So, you can’t enjoy the indoor space because it’s too hot, and you can’t enjoy the outdoor area because of the noise.
The only positive points are the swimming pool, which is great, and the staff, who were friendly and helpful. But aside from that, we really cannot recommend this place. For the price they charge, there are just too many issues that completely ruined what was supposed to be a peaceful, relaxing stay.

“풀빌라 사진에 속지마세요.”
4일동안 이 숙소에 묵었습니다만, 길리 에어의 다른것은 다 좋았는데, 이 숙소 때문에 너무 아쉬웠습니다. 첫째. 숙소 바로 앞집 공사로 종일 소음에 시달렸고, 앞집 공사하는 지붕에 인부들이 올라가있어서 숙소침실에서 바로 보여 프라이버시 침해가 심각합니다. 둘째. 시설보수도 안되어있고 (샤워기 호스가 낡아서 흉하고, 마당에서 침실로 들어가는 문 손잡이는 떨어져있어서 문을 열고 닫을때 덜렁거리는 손잡이를 사용해야합니다. 세이프티박스를 번호눌러서 사용하는것이 고장났는지, 조그만 열쇠로 잠그도록 되어있는데, 열쇠 가지고 다니기 어렵고 보관도 쉽지 않아요. 드라이기 첫날 고장났다고 하니, 다른걸로 다음날 가져다뒀던데, 그것도 고장이라 작동이 안되요) . 세째. 관리자, 룸클리닝을 믿을수가 없어요. 똑같은 빌라가 두 개 나란히 붙어있는 구조인데, 아침에 나갈때 옆 빌라에 청소하는 사람이 청소 중인 것 같았는데, 4시간 지나 들어오면서 보니까 입구문이 반은 열려있어서 보니, 숙소 침실 에어컨켜놓고 청소하다 바닥에 누워 낮잠자고 있더라구요. 관리자가 한사람있어서 필요한 것이 있다고 연락하면 들여다보기는 하는데, 서비스업과는 동떨어진 태도였습니다. 네째. 세째날 낮에 전기가 나갔습니다. 관리자에게 연락해도 전화도 안받고 왓츠앱 답변도 안오고, 에어컨도 안들어오고 물도 안나와서 바다수영하고 들어왔다가 샤워도 못하고 다시 외출했는데, 저녁이 되어서야, 전기 들어오도록 조치해놨다고 숙소에 들어가도 된다고 연락이 왔어요. 다섯째. 외부에 간단한 주방과 냉장고가 있는데, 외부에 있다보니, 자다가 물을 마시려고 해도 마당으로 나가야해서 불편한 구조였어요. 여섯째. 풀장 바닥에 찌꺼기가 다 가라앉아있습니다. 풀장청소는 아예안하는 모양입니다. 일곱째. 숙소 들어가는 길이 정말 험난합니다. 전기스쿠터타고 외부에서 숙소로 들어오고나면 다리와 발이 먼지로 새까맣게 덮힙니다. 코코넛 농장과 공사현장 바로 한가운데 숙소가 있다고 보시면 됩니다. 총평: 숙소만 만들어놓고 관리는 제대로 하지 않는 곳입니다. 정말이지, 이런 숙소는 손님을 받으면 안됩니다. 그리고 이 가격이면 길리 에어 다른곳에서 엄청 편안하게 지낼수 있으니, 다른곳을 찾아보세요. 이 숙소는 절대 비추입니다.
