Not our first time staying here, but haven’t been here in a while. This property far surpasses the others in the same price point category. Beautiful villa, great quiet location, easy to dive into the heart of Ubud with short motorbike ride. Friendly and very accommodating staff

Very pleasant villa on the southeast edge of Ubud. Very close to local waterfalls. Which I recommend visiting. The location is very quiet and pleasant. The pool is huge and magnificent! The first pool where you could actually swim. It's almost 10m long. The host was very helpful and always solved the problems we needed. The villa is very spacious. Rooms and bathroom as well. Beds are firm and comfortable. Large and well-equipped kitchen. Cleanliness in general is very good (except for mold in the bathrooms). Quality cleaning every 3 days including new towels and bedding. Coffee and a filtered coffee machine on site. Also a water dispenser with bottled water. Pool towels are provided on site, which families with children will appreciate. The garden is beautiful, spacious, and nicely lit. Shops are within walking distance within a 10-minute walk, but be aware it's only in one direction. There isn't much choice of warungs here, but they are sufficient. In the end, I can recommend good quality at a pleasant price.
When we arrived, the rooms smelled strongly of mold and mustiness. The duvets and pillows were moldy, which was the main source of the smell that made my wife feel unwell. However, this problem was quickly resolved by the villa manager who gave us completely new duvets and pillows. Including new towels and bedding. Which was great and we immediately felt much better in the rooms. And after airing it out, it smelled pleasant. The center is quite far away. The route to the center of Ubud is good, but the way back to the villa was always a punishment. If you want to spend time in the city, it's really far. If you primarily want to explore the surroundings of Ubud, it's a perfect base.
