“AWFUL // DISGUSTING // HORRIBLE”
Nothing was good. It was a terrible dirty house with very arrogant people
Everything, but really everything, was dirty. The kitchen was terrible. Never seen anything like it after all my travel experiences. Everything was rusty and greasy, like a garage for car repairs and not a kitchen for people. My wife tried to clean with bleach, yes, with bleach, but it was no use. The bathroom and living room were dirty everywhere and infested. Huge lizards. As big as a shoe size 43. The pool was dirty and the tiles were falling out one by one. We didn't even use the pool. The house is abandoned along a side road of a dirty river behind a flea market. It is absolutely not a villa by Indonesian standards. And it is not at all near a beach or anything. So I don't understand why it's called a beach villa. On top of that, when we wanted to check out, the owner and his wife came in and tried to rip us off by claiming that we had dirtied a sofa and that we had to pay for professional cleaning. While this sofa was decades old and full of cigarette burn holes. They still tried to extort money from us. When this didn't work with us, they became angry and aggressive. I suspect they do this often with their guests. Trying to make innocent guests pay for things that were damaged long ago.
