“Beautiful, relaxed, fantastic, we will come back!”
It was simply fantastic. Our first visit to Bali and hit the jackpot right away. Unusually, we stayed in the same spot for 2 weeks at the beautiful Villa Vintage and planned and made our trips from there. Okay, the traffic is not to be underestimated, but you get used to it. We often had Wira as our driver (we left his business card at the house). He had such good tips and recommendations, it was simply wonderful. Everyone was so friendly and relaxed. WhatsApp inquiries were answered super quickly. Everything you need is within walking distance around the house. Supermarkets, incredibly nice restaurants, and local markets. We can only recommend Margarets or Laiz as breakfast spots! Our hosts were incredibly kind, everything was uncomplicated and easy. Just as you would wish for on vacation. The house offers privacy and has a great location. The pool cleaning service comes once a week. Housekeeping asks multiple times a week if cleanings are desired. A laundry service picks up items for cleaning if needed. Everything is super fast and uncomplicated. Padel is also an absolute trend sport in Bali, and just 150m next to the villa is a brand new Padel court with 4 courts. We had a very nice holiday, and it was definitely one of our top 3 holidays, and we travel a lot. We will come back! Thank you.
Unfortunately, Bali has a waste problem despite all its beauty, and as we learned from some locals and then saw for ourselves, it is often the older locals who simply throw plastic bottles into the forest or fields, for example. There is unfortunately a lack of understanding. But yes, tourists are also not entirely innocent in the situation. In any case, we made sure to keep everything clean. The trash can in front of the house was constantly full. I believe that other people also disposed of trash there. However, this is a general issue in Bali and did not affect our stay at Vila Vintage.
