“Safety breach, area is not very secured.Excuse given by owner's team for said breach is illogical.”
The service rendered was very prompt and they were very hospitable throughout our stay, ensuring that we were comfortable and checking in with us daily if the pool or villa needed cleaning or if we had any special requests.
SAFETY is an issue, future guests please take note that the entrance door to the villa is only secured by a wooden plank. The rooms have sliding doors with locks provided. On our third night, we were traumatised by a burglary attempt as someone managed to bypass the front door and attempted to open the sliding glass doors after knocking (in an attempt to check if we were soundly sleeping). We felt the need to change accomodation immediately and checked out that very day. We did try to request for a refund as we had informed the owner as fast as we could about checking out and disturbances that occurred. We accept that refund was not given and instead of just telling us refund is not possible, tried to blame it on us and say we did not recount the burglary on the spot. We were in a rush to change hotels that's why. And the owner's team had the audacity to give us an excuse that another "guest" had mistakenly knocked on our door while checking in. The excuse is illogical as the guest would have had to forcefully enter or jump over the main door to knock on the sliding doors inside the villa. In future, for owner's team feedback and safety of future guests, do consider these (A) install CCTV in several areas surrounding the premises as it is pitch black at night and is secluded (B) Install some lights along the alley at the entrances. (C) change the front door to one which is more secure (D) change the sliding door locks as well as there is a huge gap even when the doors are locked.
