“Not recommended.”
The villa was quite 'tired' and wasn't overly secure - there was no lock on the front gate, only one on the glass paned front door. However, the biggest issue was discovering on the first night that the hostel next door had a live band performing, with the noise carrying over to our villa. We spoke to the hostel the following morning and they advised us that this was something they did every night. We then spoke to the property owner regarding this being a) unknown to us at the time of booking and b) a problem for our family. We mutually agreed that we would find alternative accommodation and that they would provide us a refund for the for the remaining nights we had booked and paid for. They advised us that as payment was made via booking.com that the platform would facilitate the refund and to contact them to action that. We did this, and were advised by the platform that the property owner had refused to deliver the refund. A disappointing and costly outcome to say the least. So if you like listing to a very loud live band while trying to go to sleep, this is the place for you. If you don't, I'd suggest you look elsewhere.
