The only saving grace was the cleaning/gardening staff were very lovely.
Unfortunately we had booked this for my friend’s 40th birthday as it would be their first trip to Bali and we were utterly let down. The bathrooms weren’t clean (severe build up of soap scum & mould), upstairs toilet/bidet leaking, black mould on the wall & ceiling of downstairs bedroom (directly under the upstairs toilet leak) resulting in the room being smelly & unusable, pool had a build up off black scum around the edges and MANY broken/missing tiles causing cuts and scrapes on feet, ants completely overwhelming the kitchen benches despite nothing being left on them and constantly being wiped down. Our main issue however was the fact that anytime we went to bed (in any room), we woke up covered in bites. The property manager didn’t believe us and gave us cans of bug spray to remedy the issue. Booking.com took 10 days to reply to our complaint and didn’t help to resolve the issue due to the fact the property manager disagreed with it. BEWARE, BOOK AT OWN RISK!!
