“You can stay for a couple of days.”
The key is to understand what you get for this money. We were looking for affordable accommodation with a kitchen. Traditional style house, 2 rooms, air conditioning, clean bed linen and towels, water cooler, refrigerator. We stayed for 2 nights before our flight. Good location, 7 minutes walk to the beach, supermarket nearby and a fish market within a kilometer. Clean bed linen, friendly hosts. There is a kitchen, gas stove, a couple of frying pans, a pot. You can't cook a full meal, but you can prepare breakfast. We even cooked soup for the child. Had breakfast on the veranda with a beautiful view of the flowers.
All furniture, plumbing, and dishes are in need of replacement. Only 1 fork, plastic plates that have turned yellow. Only 1 soup plate.
