“Little haven of peace with the sound of water and birds”
Le Gynandha is a little haven of peace away from the chaos of Ubud. We always looked forward to returning to the hotel after a long walk in the busy and noisy center of Ubud. It is necessary to walk about 5 to 10 minutes from the main street or 2 minutes by scooter to reach the hotel, as cars cannot access it. This was a good thing because being away allowed for this little bubble of tranquility with only the sounds of nature around. If we were to return to Ubud, it would be to this hotel or in the same area, considering the proximity to the center and the tranquility. The little path near the hotel that goes through the rice fields was our highlight in Ubud! We especially liked the Pukako restaurant where we had breakfast twice.
The cleanliness of the bath towels is probably the weak point... hard to say if they were stained or dirty, in general the place is worth a visit but this aspect needs improvement.
