Casa Amarta is really the perfect place to stay in Canggu. You are on a side street of the "main street" with beach clubs and restaurants and the beach, so everything is super close, but at the same time it is wonderfully quiet. No noise from music or scooters. The staff was incredibly sweet, especially Dwi, who took care of us and went the extra mile. At breakfast, there was a choice of a few dishes, it may not have been the biggest breakfast, but always sufficient and freshly made while you wait. The pool was a nice bonus to cool off, although there are no sunbeds. You can sit in the lobby or in the beach chairs in the pool. The room was spacious.
The room has been used for several years and in some places you can see this. The shower didn't work so well. But I notice that this is a bit of a problem everywhere in Bali, due to the high humidity it is difficult to keep everything in order. Anyway, it was clean. Our room could not be completely darkened.
