“I wouldn't come back”
The guest house is located in a charmless peripheral area. Lots of garbage and dogs in the streets. The garden is a narrow corridor that serves to access the rooms and the kitchen. The pool in the photo is at the entrance. Apart from the entrance, everything is quite old. Furniture, bathrooms, kitchen. The room is small and sad. Upon entering, you couldn't breathe because of the smell of mothballs. With the windows open, you can hear the distant noises of the road and airplanes. If a neighbor goes to the bathroom, you can hear the powerful noise of the ventilation system that turns on automatically with the light. The bed has only a winter duvet without a cover, so I had to fold the bed linen that covers the mattress to cover myself. Despite being in a remote area, the owner does not provide drinking water and also sells bottles at twice the price as in the supermarket. The guy who attended me on arrival was very unprofessional and not at all hospitable. I really don't understand how this place can have such a high rating. I traveled for over three weeks in Bali and I can affirm that for that price, there are beautiful houses and chalets in great areas. The owner quickly passed by for some tasks and then left. By the way, he does not live in the guest house!
