Very kind owners. Simple but clean structure
I would recommend moving the roosters away from the rooms because their crowing disturbs sleep

I booked this place out of curiosity because it was one of the cheapest stays I could find, yet it had consistently high ratings on both Google Maps and Booking. I can see why. The service was quick and helpful—whenever I needed something, I just had to ask. The local family who runs the place is warm, peaceful, and gives guests plenty of privacy. The grandmother, in particular, has the biggest, most genuine welcoming smile. You can really feel that this is a true Balinese family home. When you walk past their home, you can see they live very modestly. Yet they’ve put so much care into providing guests with clean, comfortable rooms that meet modern standards, even though they themselves live quite simply… If you choose to stay here, I just hope you’ll treat them with the same kindness and respect they’ve shown their guests. For the price, the value is honestly hard to beat. My room overlooked the forest, was clean, had air conditioning, and even a balcony where I could just sit and enjoy the view. The furnishings are a little dated, but everything was well maintained. If you’re expecting luxury, this isn’t it. But if you’re looking for a private room at roughly hostel prices, in a quiet local neighborhood away from the busy center, I think it’s an excellent choice. There are a few imperfections, of course—but considering what you pay, it’s hard to complain.
