It's a unique experience. The hotel is richly decorated with antiques. You practically stay in a museum. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast, although choosing between several sweet or savory options, was more than enough for us to start the day. We loved it.
It's a bit far away so transportation is needed.

Authentic hotel like I had never seen before. It's a style, but it's worth a look. The staff is very attentive. Quiet away from the noise.
Coffee corner is expensive but it's convenient and I didn't love the neighborhood but with a moto taxi, you can easily reach other areas!

If you are looking for a unique stay. Go here. It is in a very local area of town. We didn’t explore too much. The best meal of our whole trip we had in a restaurant right next to the hotel called Omah Dhuwur Coffee & Dining. The room is very big and atmospheric. Simple bathroom

You don't live in a hotel, but in a museum. The owner has brought art treasures from around the world here and makes them available to everyone who stays here. You can safely skip other museum visits in the city, there is more and better here. And on top of that, the staff including the manager are extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we found out about this hotel too late, otherwise we would have stayed much longer. This was definitely the highlight of our trip through Java.
