My stay in Jakarta was unexpectedly extended, and I had to book a room at the last minute because the place I usually stay was fully booked. The room had a very strange smell, like a mix of cigarette smoke and a strong chemical air freshener. It was also quite dirty, and the walls were covered with what looked like insect or larvae cocoons. I honestly don’t understand why the staff hadn’t cleaned them, as they were impossible to miss. Considering the low price, I managed to stay for one night, but I wouldn’t choose this place again and can’t recommend it.
