“Better value than current rating, comfortable room, and friendly host”
The room was more comfortable than expected. Large layout with multiple areas the simply relax comfortably in. Beautiful view of the jungle directly outside the window. Wayan was very friendly in person and sounds like he has great plans for his property. The place was central enough to north Ubud and away from the traffic and chaos. I would come back and stay again.
Both wifi and AC needed improvement. With all the windows open and fan running, you don't need AC... but then you also risk bugs and creepy crawlies coming in. Even with windows closed, fan + AC on full, the room was too warm to sleep in. Even with router directly outside, laptop struggled to connect to wifi at all. The wifi wasn't the biggest issue since I was gone most of the time.

“No room”
I had booked my 1 week stay a week in advance, and it had been paid for and confirmed 3 days prior. I had seen a review on google that stated someone had arrived to check in and they had given her reserved room to someone else, so I sent a message through Booking.com when I made the reservation, to make sure that didn't happen to me. I arrived with my bags at the check in time, in the pouring rain, only to be met with confusion. The owner had not seen my reservation, and had given the room away to someone already staying in it. I had to ask him 3 times to contact booking.com to request my refund, as I didn't want to leave without it being processed... I think he expected me to do the calling? I am a very understandable person and I was patient waiting/trying go find somewhere else to stay, but it was obviously very stressful, and only after about 45 minutes did the owner apologise at all... it kinda felt like it was my fault 😅. Eventually, he called booking.com and the refund was requested. This is not the first time this has been an issue, so it would be great if they could keep a close eye on their reservations in the future.

Wir hatten das Gefühl nicht willkommen zu sein. Toilettenpapier gab es erst auf Nachfrage, der Esstisch war schmutzig und die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht

La posizione è la camera è favolosa!
L'accoglienza. Sono arrivata e la prima frase che mi è stata detta è stata "te ne puoi andare e cercare qualcos'altro se non vuoi sentire i rumori dei lavori di costruzione, perché qui ci sono rumori dalle 8 alle 17 tutti i giorni", e il fatto che ci sono lavori di costruzione, molto rumorosi per tu il giorno
