Allround wonderful place to stay! Incredibly friendly staff who are always willing to assist you in your needs. My wife, 1-year-old, and myself felt very welcome from the first minute.
Small side note is maybe that the menu is a bit basic. But other than that, no comments can be made whatsoever.

My favorite part of the whole trip was in Amed and in this Hotel. You can get massages in the hotel and face the beach. The arrack cocktails we got here were the best! I couldn't get enough of it. Good breakfast and dinner options as well. You can rent the snorkeling gear and the scooter from the hotel (they will arrange the scooter for you, quite reasonable price) and snorkel right opposite the hotel or go on a short ride to Jemeluk Bay and snorkel there for hours. Amed is a paradise with the right balance of modern amenities and nature.
The entrance to the hotel is extremely steep. I am an expert scooter rider (we ride all kinds of conditions in India) and I struggled to keep balance. If you are not sure of your scooter skills, it's better not to ride the scooter on this path. The snorkeling rates they quoted me online over email were different from the one I got quoted when I got there. I had already booked a snorkeling trip with another agency by them. Also, the hotel needs to give us some free water from a water dispenser. It's annoying to spend so much on water in the whole trip.

Super dirty rooms, with mold, rude staff that didn’t want to solve the problem. The pictures of the hotel are 10 years old. Booked for 4 nights and left in the middle of the first night because I couldn’t stop sneezing due to the amount of dust
