Kadek the owner was very attentive to us. Very welcoming and does everything to make our trip easier. Very attentive to his clients. A big thank you for the rafting, the taxi, the scooter. Really top-notch.

“A beautiful jungle paradise in Ubud where you can feel at home with Kadek.”
This accommodation is an absolute paradise!!! The garden is a delight and the pool as well, we loved it. We stayed in the cabin and it's like a house, with a living room, dressing room, bathroom, kitchen, a porch where they served us breakfast every morning, and a private garden with sun loungers. The area is quiet, just what we were looking for, to explore Ubud but be able to rest in a quiet hotel. It's about a 15-minute drive from the center of Ubud. The owner, Kadek, welcomed us as if we were his family and he said that for him, his staff and his guests should feel like family, and he totally achieves it! He gave us recommendations for visits, tips, and took us by taxi on the last day to Padadang Bai to catch our ferry to Gili Meno, passing by a very beautiful waterfall. We chatted all the way, and he even offered me some branches of his frangipani (Balinese flower tree) to take home and plant. Everything was clean and very nice! His staff was also very nice and helpful, and they welcomed us with two fresh coconuts in the fridge :) Every night we could order breakfast via WhatsApp and Kadek was always available for any questions. As we arrived late from our visits around Ubud, even though it was no longer pool hours, he told us we could use it and we had a great swim. We didn't meet anyone else in the pool so it was almost like having a private pool :P It was also very nice to have a Hindu altar behind the cabin and see how they put offerings and incense every day :) Being surrounded by jungle and rice fields and being able to end the days in that well-kept garden with that wonderful pool was a delight, we really didn't want to leave! When we return to Ubud, we will definitely go see Kadek and stay at his wonderful hotel, it's a must :)
Just detailing some things for future improvements: :) The bed seemed a bit narrow for two people, even though it was comfortable. The refrigerator is too noisy at night and since everything is in the same space, I had to sleep with earplugs. The breakfast is very tasty but I would add a bit more quantity and some more variety. The dressing room is great for putting suitcases, but it would need a couple of benches to put them on.

We felt like being part of a family. Personal attention was their top priority. Kadek, his wife, and their staff are phenomenal. We were so happy with their service and hospitality that we returned to this cottage. You had Ash disruptions that canceled our short two-day trip to Jakarta.
I have to leave this box open because there is no bad comment I can make about this property.
