Beautiful little spot.snorkelling walking in from the beach. Very friendly team. Beautiful features.
To note that the beach is a working beach so you dont really lie on it. Its great fun though seeing the boats with the catch come in every morning.

I loved the local charm that Amed has to offer. The room was lean on amenities and a face washer which I was not prepped for, but I made it work. Connecting with Warung Dodo and their little family was great. The coastline and mountains were just gorgeous, and makes you appreciate the real Bali.

We loved our stay at Life in Amed. The grounds are beautiful, the staff extremely friendly and restaurant served really delicious food. The cocktails were the best we had on the trip. The pool was lovely and we enjoyed swimming with our two young children. We would stay again and recommend. We stayed in one of the beachfront cottages which had 2 separate rooms which are hard to come by in Bali and we really valued with kids for naps etc
We found the snorkeling at the beach was not as good as other places. My husband who is a strong swimmer and has snorkeled quite a bit got into some trouble out in the water due to the strong current and waves. Just something to keep in mind. We ended up walking over the Lipah beach to snorkel which wasn't a big deal at all. There's not much happening around the hotel but that's kind of the point.
