Always someone present, both day and night. The family is really kind and welcoming. They gave us the ground floor family room right in front of the pool. It was a huge room, the shower was leaking, we were immediately notified as soon as we entered, but we solved it by putting a bucket underneath to avoid spreading water in the bathroom. The bed was a bit hard, but I never woke up with back pain in the morning. It's a really quiet place, reachable by a narrow typical street, so only on foot or by scooter. At night, you only hear the sounds of nature, finally we were able to sleep peacefully without traffic noise. The pool is always a pleasure on hot days in Ubud. Unfortunately, there is no longer a view of the rice fields, as in the photos, but a view of the rainforest. Which is not bad at all. We stayed for a week and it was really relaxing, with a scent of flowers and a multitude of colors (the family really cares about their orchids). The breakfast was abundant with banana crepes, tea, and plenty of fresh fruit. Really excellent!! Thank you for the wonderful stay!!
In the first few days, there was a bit of a musty smell, a common problem in Bali, but by keeping the door open for a few hours a day, the smell disappeared. In the evening, there are quite a few mosquitoes, they turn on a mosquito coil every evening but you still need mosquito repellent spray.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay in Ubud! The hotel is located away from the busy traffic and is a true oasis of tranquility. Our family room was huge, tastefully decorated, and spotlessly clean. The absolute highlight, however, was the owner's outstanding hospitality: to celebrate our wedding anniversary, he truly went above and beyond to organize an unforgettable evening for us while the kids were already asleep. He got us a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a bottle of wine, cooked a wonderful dinner just for us, and set the table magically with candles. It couldn't have been more wonderful – thank you so much for these unforgettable moments!
