A guesthouse located practically in the center of Ubud, just a short walk from the Palace and Monkey Forest. It is situated within a small, well-kept courtyard shared with the adjacent Sananda restaurant. It has been recently renovated, is clean and tidy, and there is always someone on hand to help if needed (I was recovering from a serious accident, and the staff were incredibly accommodating). It is quiet despite its central location—truly wonderful.
The only downside, if you want to call it that, is that the rooms are a bit small. It’s manageable if you’re traveling alone, but I think it would be difficult to handle with two large suitcases. However, with a little organization, the room size becomes less important than everything else.
