Reliable transfer. Nothing was stolen
no briefing, no information sheet, no peace, loud water pump, chainsaw, construction crew, plastic smell from waste incineration, annoying dogs on the dining table, 43€ for a rundown hut, No table, no shelf, no mirror, no broom, Greedy / 200,000 IDR for bananas vs 30,000 IDR in Sorong, Kitchen smell, Danger from falling coconuts and palm fronds, Many mosquitoes, No fan, Common disadvantages (was the same in all 3 homestays I visited): The food was not good. They saved on ingredients. No locks, No insider tips on snorkeling spots, best time, bird spots, no customer orientation, Greedy, No safety standards for electrical installation and construction, No hygiene standards, Power generation by diesel generators, so not sustainable, No sustainable wastewater treatment, No trained staff, no room cleaning, Staff is not helpful, No staff control because the owner is not present

We were the only 2 tourists. The owners do not speak English but with the help of Google Translate, they really do everything for you. The food was truly excellent!! We were allowed to borrow flippers for snorkeling and they took us out on the boat for a whole day.
It was very quiet, but that was certainly not bad, during low tide we could walk further. The owner also took us to the village on the other side of the island. They were really super sweet and helpful.
