The family running it is lovely. Super friendly and helpful. Every night they asked me when I wanted breakfast. The room was very comfortable, with air conditioning and a decent bathroom. Very good for the price. Great breakfast, prepared fresh and abundant.
The only downside I would mention is that they have a rooster, or some neighbor who started singing around 5:30 am and didn't stop. Luckily, I had earplugs 😋

“Very basic place, could be acceptable if they met better minimum hygiene standards”
The place is a 20-minute walk from the Ubud Palace and the Monkey Forest. The gardens and pool are well maintained. Our room had pleasant views of the garden.
Unfortunately, there were several things that quite disappointed us. The place is very basic, the bathrooms very old and not very clean. What bothered us the most is that they did not want to change our towels: they only give one body towel, on the third day I asked for them to be changed and they gave me dirty and smelly ones, when I mentioned it they said they didn't have others and we had to go without towels for 24 hours (they simply don't have more and don't want to buy either). They gave my children dirty and smelly towels from the start and also asked for others unsuccessfully.
