The location is great for the yoga barn and other central things.
I hate to leave a bad review, but the bathroom was very dirty- mould and stains in the toilet and sink and hair in the shower. The water was cold. The room smelt very damp which is normal in Bali because of the humidity, but this was very bad. There is no kettle in the room. The fruit served at breakfast had obviously been cut with the same knife as the onion as it tasted like this and the bowl it was served in was not very clean. It's obviously a very cheap room, but even so, when a space is uncared for like this, it makes the whole experience feel a bit unwelcoming and awkward. I only stayed one night of the three I booked as my previous hotel offered me my room back. I didn’t complain to the owners, but decided to make my excuses and leave. A freshen up- just airing before guests arrive and properly cleaning the bathroom would make this a nice homestay! If you don't mind these things then its a great spot so don't let me put you off, I'm just travelling alone and maybe a bit sensitive, so maybe the little things feel more important.
