Very dirty, bathroom was not cleaned. In the evening had loads of ants in the room coming from small holes outside.

The check-in was extremely confusing. We waited 20 minutes for someone who worked there to let us into our room but were moved twice. We were put in a room with a leaky AC, leaky roof in 2 places, wet floor, and a dirty shower mat. When we had finally got to our room but the receptionist was doubting if we’d even paid. “Paid? Paid?” Not the friendliest vibes from him but if you like cheap the room wasn’t that bad in the end.

“Alternative for a passing night”
It is a very basic accommodation but it is decent and well located. It is very convenient considering the prices in Kuta, especially if you are passing through for 1 or 2 nights. It is a homestay but does not offer breakfast. It does have a space to park the motorbike under a roof, which is good. The person who attended us was friendly and when we left the accommodation the next morning, he was not around and we left the keys in the room. It has air conditioning.
The appearance is not the best, the room looks old and neglected, the shower was quite old and damaged. The smell is a bit strong of camphor/closed but at least it is not a bad smell, just a bit strong but once in the room you get used to it.
