“Be careful, we are very accepting people, but overall it really doesn't feel like a well-managed place”
The room has a lot of character, with wood and bamboo materials, and is very well-ventilated
The room doesn't have a blanket, the bed and pillows have a strong musty smell, at night it feels like maybe rats are having a party on the roof. The roof has not been repaired or has any special features(?), there are areas with only tiles and no bamboo, when it rains heavily, the tiles still leak slightly. The outdoor toilet feels old and neglected, the shower is just a water pipe, probably no hot water. There might not be WiFi, it wasn't mentioned upon check-in and we didn't meet the landlord so we don't know.

My stay at Omah Guyub was absolutely wonderful! I felt like I was at home. The place is comfortable and clean, the staff are very kind and always helpful. A beautiful experience and I will definitely come back, God willing. 🌿💫

“Very enriching in Javanese traditions”
The contact with Andy, his wife, and his brother. More than the place, picturesque and created by Andy in an artisanal way in Javanese traditions (outdoor cold water showers, rooms open to the outside...) which creates a unique charm, it's the contact with genuine and generous people that stands out. Thank you Andy for the wonderful time I spent with you and my three daughters!!
