“Idyllic place for snorkeling, nice pool and room in general but the owner is a mafia boss”
Staff in general are very nice people. But beware of the owner, he is a scammer. Comfortable beds, 1 minute from the beach and Jemeluk bay, the best for snorkeling
The owner is a scamming mafia boss who assigned me a room for 3 when it was my partner and my 2 children. He offered to change me to another room but I had to pay almost double or leave to another hotel. I accepted because it was almost dark and I was with my children... I tried to contact Booking in every way while staying there but was unsuccessful. So on the day of payment, I insisted that I had a reservation for 4 and that was what I was going to pay. The conversation escalated to the point where he was going to call the police because he hit my hand and asked why I tried to contact Booking without his permission. Finally, to avoid further issues in a country I don't know and with my family, I agreed to pay a little more than what I should have paid for my reservation. It was 500,000, he asked for 900,000 and I paid 600,000 per night. In addition, the shower pressure is non-existent... and I tested it in both rooms. Also, the morning prayer at 5 am is very loud if you are staying on the left side of the hotel (above the reception)
