We stayed at Komaneka for 3 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We didn't want to leave!! One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in and perfect for what we wanted: a peaceful, luxurious jungle escape. The staff were kind and helpful, and the facilities were stunning. We opted for the lowest cost room, and it was still absolutely huge and beautiful. We didn't need a private pool because the hotel has a variety of huge pools, and because most guests have a private pool, the communal pools are quite anyway! The grounds are stunning - so green and tropical - and the views are amazing. I enjoyed a session of sunrise yoga, which was great. The staff weren't pushy asking us to do activities, which was appreciated as all we wanted to do was relax and enjoy the hotel. We couldn't believe the value for money. We had a lot of drinks, food and massages - but the total bill was very reasonable. The spa was lovely, and we enjoyed a relaxing massage there. The housekeeping was exceptional - everything was so clean and thoughtful. Overall, it is a really spectacular hotel and we will definitely return in the future.
If I had to be picky, the restaurant menu was a bit limited. It would be nice to have the option of more light bites and appetisers. All the optioins were a bit too similar. However, everything we ordered was delicious. The happy hour deal (2x cocktail with a canape) was a great idea - but being served one tiny arancini ball with 2 cocktails was a bit bizarre as we were two people :D Sparkling wine by the glass would be a great addition to the drinks menu!

“Go and experience!”
Normally I don't write a review when I'm still in the hotel, but in this case I make an exception. This beautiful house in this magical place is exceptional in every way. We have the Jungle Pool Villa 111 and are very impressed by the equipment, size, and well-maintained condition. In addition to the dreamlike surroundings, the tranquility (almost no children) and the view of the wooded valley, the constant effort of the staff on cleanliness was very positively noticeable to us. Exceptional is also the friendliness and professional manner of every employee we dealt with. A big compliment!! I myself have worked in the five-star hotel industry and know what upscale standard is, but this hotel beats everything I have experienced so far. Unfortunately, we have to leave tomorrow, but we will always have this great hotel with its wonderful staff in our hearts. Terima kaschi 🙏🏼 for this wonderful time!
