This was already the 2nd time staying at h616 villa and it was like coming home. Beautifull view, beautifull interior and the staff that feels like family. It is the hidden gem of North Bali. Putu is the best host we ever had and we will miss him! All the communication is clear and fast, the information like the deposit which is very normal fot a house with such beautifull interior is clear and the house is even more beautifull as the pictures suggest. Yes the road to the villa is a bit bumpy but no problem Me and my girlgriend had zero motorbike experience and it was fine for us both times.

“Beautiful villa in isolated Northern Bali”
Beautiful villa in the north of Bali. The house is gorgeously decorated with original art and lovely furnishings. The outside area has a large pool of a good depth and a superb garden area. We enjoyed the breakfast cooked daily by Putu and Ketut. The view, especially at dawn, is amazing.
We came to Kubutambahan to escape the tourist crowds in the South but didn't realise quite how isolated this property was. We were ready for rural life, but assumed it would be closer to a village with warungs etc. The road to the property is rough and grab/gojek don't service the area. If you don't come with your own scooters you are very much reliant on Putu (house manager) to assist in organising any outings. There are very limited options within walking distance. (Highly recommend walking over to the Mermaid gallery and restaurant for amazing food prepared by a European-trained chef exploring Indonesian flavours in a European style.) Note that you need to bring 5 million IDR in cash which will be held as a deposit for the duration of your stay. It apparently says that somewhere on the booking.com confirmation, but I was not aware of it, which caused a stressful situation when arriving. Although booking.com had this property listed as family friendly, and the staff were lovely with our 4 year old, it really isn't designed for kids. The pool is deep the whole way and the art and decorations in the house highly breakable. If we had realised how beautifully furnished the villa was, we probably wouldn't have booked it with a child. The garden is beautiful but it would have been really nice to have some yoga mats or similar available so that we could enjoy sitting out on the lower terraces of the garden.

This has been the most beautifull place we have stayed during our whole trip in indonesia. The swimming pool and interieur is amazing! The Staff is also very kind, respectfull and are willing to help you enjoy your stay even more. We loved every minute of it and we will definetly come back! It seemed almost to good to be true but it lived up to every expectation we had and even surpassed it.

Beh che dire, a mani basse la miglior esperienza vissuta Putu, Ketut, Ngurah e Gede sono delle persone favolose, si sono presi cura di noi in ogni momento e ci hanno fatto godere appieno la tranquillità e la bellezza di questo posto Inoltre, la villa ha a disposizione la possibilità di andare in giro con un'autista privato di nome Agus. Abbiamo fatto tanti giri turistici e abbiamo legato molto, infatti ci dispiace che questo mese sia giá finito. Speriamo di poter rifare esperienze come queste e non possiamo che consigliarvi questa villa
