“Great villa, good location, well equipped for everything you need- please just fix the water in the pool.”
We had a great stay at Villa Thiara. It had been newly updated since booking and looked beautiful. It was very well equipped with everything we needed. The rooms were spacious and the outside garden was beautiful. Only a short walk to the main part of Seminyak made it easy to get around.
The one issue we had was with the pool. We did ask 3 times to the staff to have the water checked. The “pool man” tested the water by putting some into his mouth and swishing it around and telling us it was okay. We chose to no longer swim in the pool by the end of the trip due to rashes from the pool, everyone’s skin becoming very irritated and our eyes would be red raw after coming out of the water. All of our bathers have to be thrown out including swim vests as they are now all discoloured with an awful orange colour that would not come out in the wash. My daughter also ended up with an awful bacterial infection on her skin from the pool which ended us up in hospital for antibiotics. Please have this fixed for future guests. I asked multiple times to have it checked properly.
