Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. Within just two hours of checking in, the cleaner’s key was stolen from the lockbox, which immediately raised serious concerns about security. During our stay, $600 was stolen from our room, and while we understand incidents can happen, the lack of care and follow-up from management was completely unacceptable. It took hours for police to arrive, and once they did, we were told we’d have to go to the station ourselves to file a report, as they wouldn’t take it onsite. Even more frustrating, no one from management followed up the next day to check if we were okay or to offer any assistance whatsoever. The air-conditioning was terrible, and every room had a portable fan — which says everything about how ineffective it is. The curtains were mouldy, barely worked, and did nothing to block out light, so we had to use eye masks just to get some sleep. For the price we paid, we expected a much higher standard of comfort, security, and basic guest care. Overall, the experience left us feeling unsafe, disappointed, and unsupported, and I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone until they take guest welfare and safety seriously.
