Fortunately, there were also positive points. The breakfast service was definitely a plus and the owner was very helpful and friendly. We certainly appreciated that!
Unfortunately, a big disappointment! The pictures looked perfect, but upon arrival, the reality was very different. The accommodation was right in the middle of a construction site and the maintenance was clearly lacking: the paint was peeling off the walls and various amenities were not functioning properly. To make matters worse, we were subjected to construction noise daily from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm right next to the accommodation. There was no chance of enjoying a peaceful stay. Additionally, the shower had barely 20% water pressure and the air conditioning in the second room was only working at half capacity. The disparity between the pictures and reality was huge. For us, this stay was a major letdown. After all, you book an accommodation to stay comfortably and relax, not to be in the middle of a construction site. A thorough renovation, properly functioning amenities, and honest pictures would definitely not be a luxury here. It's a shame because we had much higher expectations based on the pictures.
