This is our third visit in three years, My reviews for 2004 and 2005 can be found on this site, and our experience this time was just as good as the first two times. This is a gem of a villa and the staff can't be faulted. This time we came with a couple of friends and they were equally impressed. We have already booked for next year. There really is nothing to add to what I have written previously. But you must know this is a place of beauty and peace. If you're into parties and noise, the place is not for you.

“Haven of peace in a sublime house with breathtaking sea views”
Our group of 8 people had an unforgettable stay at Villa Celagi. This vast, sublime house is an architectural gem, everything is well designed and very tasteful. What a joy to wake up with the rising sun and admire the view of the sea and the horizon! The living spaces allow everyone to find their moment of privacy. The pool is spacious and very enjoyable as access to the sea at the bottom of the house is quite complicated. Wayan, our lovely host and cook, prepared delicious breakfasts for us. Arjun, our friendly driver, was available for various excursions (Lembuyang temples, Taman Ujung and Tirta Gangga palaces, transfer from the port of Badang Bai, transfer to Kuta/Denpasar).

“A beautiful villa just outside the charming center of Amed”
What a special place this was! Villa Celagi is located just outside the center of Amed, beautifully perched above the sea. The view is truly breathtaking. The villa itself is spacious, charming, and wonderfully open, allowing you to enjoy that amazing view from everywhere. Perhaps the tranquility is the most beautiful: waking up with the sun above the sea and the sound of the waves in the background all day long. But what really made our stay extra special was the lovely staff. The breakfast was delicious and we could always rely on them for other things as well. Villa Celagi is above all a delightful place to completely unwind. From the villa, you can also snorkel, and with a driver, you can easily reach the center of Amed.

“Tranquil and relaxing”
Good space and flow. Amazing views. Felt very peaceful and comfortable here. Staff were friendly, helpful and always available with any requests such as booking massages or laundry. Good location on main road and a nice Italian restaurant in walking distance.
There are a lot of steps which may be difficult for some people. Difficult to park a car on the drive due to a steep ramp, so had to park on the main road.
