The pool is nice as there is an on-site bar, staff are very friendly and there is even a cat on the property.
The biggest issue for us was the smell of the room, the bathroom itself was a bit dated and the door handle kept falling off; however, none of that was as much of an issue as the smell in the entire room.

Stayed here before starting the Komodo boat tour, and would definitely recommend. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool is huge and a highlight. They have balls for the pool, darts, foosball and some cards/board games which was great. Very good facilities for the price.
Only possible downside would be that noise can be heard from outside fairly loud. It’s in a quiet area and is a staircase up from the road so traffic noise isn’t too bad but if other guests are making noise outside it will be heard. We could also hear the security guard's phone quite loudly.

Nice big pool, breakfast really good
No water supply! Cold showers. Room small, just big enough for the beds.
